Less Clutter mean Less Stress!!!

Oh my Oh my!!! Where should this go where should that go....Oh me Oh my! I am sure we have all had those moments in our lives where we feel way overwhelmed by clutter....and that is what my post is all about. Clutter and the tension it can bring to your home. My family and I live in an apartment that is small for our family size and to be honest we own more than what we know what to do with or have space for...or do we? For two year now me and my husband would just start tossing thing ( mainly me) just to keep space open in the house.Which started to get me down as  I don't have much really to get ride of. but I wanted my children to have everything they could. The problem with that was I would need to go and buy thing as I got ride of things and that was just not helping. So I got to thinking what can I do to give us space.
  I started to watch YouTube videos on how to organize in small spaces, and I was just in shock on how much room you can have in a small place. Then came the let down of oh great I need to buy all these thing to make this space. and for about a day or so I was kinda just down I wanted the space but didn't want to spend the money what to do what to do.....Then it hit me. I don't have to buy all these thing I can use plenty of the thing I have here at home to make this has be more organized. So I want to take you with me on my journey to making more space for me and my family. as I get rooms done I will be posting photos and I will be explaining all of the steps of what I did. and of the few thing we did buy to make this cramped apartment feel more like a home. I will also be sharing my Makeup storage and much more...If you would like to go on this journey with me please keep your eyes posted for photos and more to be posted and things to change in my home. I should have my room up soon and the restroom. with in the weeks to come I will also post my kids room the living room and my kitchen....I hope this can help other feel more relaxed and at ease. and help other see what they can use at there home to make things work for you with the thing you already have at home.

ok so I am going to start with my makeup storage as that was what kinda sparked part of this organization! Well that and just the stress of not finding things.

 This a full view of my makeup. and how it is all keep...from left to right there is my three draw stand that I will get more into detail with later...my vanity/desk work great for both. and then a end table that I have put my body lotions and perfumes on.

on the bottom draw I hold all lipsticks, chap sticks and glosses.

In the middle Drawer I have a makeup bag that hold all my mascaras and I liners. from pencil liners to gel liners. also in the bag there in is my shadow sticks.and primers.

Under the bag I have smaller eyeshadow palettes and single shadows, my eye brow palette and all lose powder shadows.

In the top drawer I have my foundation BB creams some eye makeup remover pads whitening strips and just other things I use pretty often.

Here in my Vanity Desk I hold all of my eyeshadow palettes that I use most often like my Urban Decay Vic palette and my BH cosmetic palettes. also my blushes, bronzers, highlighter, and such. On the other side it has all of my nail polish and nail care items.

Here on this end table I keep all my body lotions, body sprays and perfumes, along with my lamp so I can see what I am doing at night. hehehe

Setting the mood for a great night Sleep or Whatever it may be!!
Bedroom and Closet Organization is very important...I started to notice that my husband and I were not sleeping so well, I could figure it out. and neither of use seem to be in the mood for much cuddly loving time. sick of things not having a place or being about to find things. I set out on the task to make our room more livable. Many of our kids Items were in our room and that was taking up to much space.(will get into that when I should my kids room.) With the kids stuff moved back to there room. It was time to make our room ours again. I started with my closet so not to over whelm myself. which trust me was a task and a half in it's self. as we had papers in a bin for the kids work from work and awards and such, and just bin with this and that and what ever in it. I never know where any thing was just crazy. so I changed it form that to this.

with things I had around that house that were put in bin cause I couldn't find a use for them at the time I started to think...how can I make more room in my closet and be able to find thing....First things first lets figure out what I need and what can be tossed. Tho I knew this would be a task. Let me tell you that when it was done my closet didn't seem as scary as it had before.( tip for everyone, If you haven't used it in the past 6 month or plan on using it and time soon it's time to go.) Minus paper work and holiday deco of course. O.k moving forward. I opened up one of two folding tables I had to divide thing up and give me more space. I placed my three drawer plastic dresser thing on the top of the table. in the drawers I keep tools and important paper work and some of my husbands volunteer work Items. Next to the plastic dress is a blue bin filled with other items for my husbands volunteer work, beside that is some empty laundry baskets. Under the table is the other fold able table and the bin lids. two of  the bins are used the rest are empty. in one bin I have extra blankets and sheets. in the other is my samples and review Items.( soon to be Items up for swap on the Sample Swap Shop! host by my dear friend Dawn!!!) Alright so I am sorry for going out of order but now to move up form the top of the table to the selves. Across the two selves that are already in the closet I add a bunk bed rail. to make more room to put thing. on the right hand selves is my husband Items for his volunteer work.( Yes he has lots of Item for his Volunteer work) across the bunk rail I have which only come down when there room is spotless, also next to it is a play-do set(kids have it at the moment). Next to that is a bag I have full of other bags and purses not in use. I have it opened at the moment but normally it is closed to look neater but to show the inside of the bag I opened it. on the left selves I have some none opened sheet and bed covers and such. then an extra screen and keyboard. and a box with just some craft Items. and a little bucket with some paints.

Lets move forward to my bedroom.

 In the photos above you will see how I organize my clothing and cleaning supplies along with my beauty Items. so let's get started. I had my husband instal some wire selves that would go in a closet this has become what I call our bed room closet/storage unit! In the photo above to the left you will see my stock pile of shaving creams and razors and in the box I have band aids and other first aid Items. below that is where my clothing hangs. and where I have a four compartment two drawer hanging organizer ( I plan to get one or two more)  which hold my baby girls Items...below that there is my carpet cleaner and vacuum also my make makeup/ vanity area. In the photo to the right you see, where I extented my selves with a bunk rail. that has other boxes on it that contain well nothing at the moment but are keep for smaller Items that will be add to my couponing pile. and then you see tissue boxes and feminine care Items below you see a empty space. That space is used to hang dry clothing. under that is a bin I have made into a night stand.

Here in this photo you see more of the wire shelves on the top of the shelves holds more of my couponing hauls items under that is my husbands clothing and our daughters play-pin. and another bin I made a night stand.

Here in this photo you see more of where I hang my littlest angels clothing and my pile of Items.

  I hope that what I have shown In this post has helped some of you who live in a smaller living area, get some ideas on how to create more space in you home.
