2012 Holiday Influenster VoxBox

Hello All My Alluring Beauties, Always stare at a spectacle
 I am coming to you with another +Influenster Team  Voxbox. I received the 2012 Holiday VoxBox From Influenster, so excited to have been picked for this box it came with some amazing Items. I felt so happy to get the box on Christmas eve I wait until Christmas day to open it with my family, was awesome....Here are the product I got and the price rang for the items. I also wanted to mention for those of you who don't know what Influenster is....That Influenster is a site that is looking for the latest and greatest of product, They then send the product for free to some of the members of Influenster, to test and review...and they choose who get what box by badges that you earn such as an Mother bear, Blogger, Beauty Guru, and so on. so let get going one what I got to excited to share what I got for free from Influenster with you all, ( oh one more thing if you would like a invite please let me know I have some left.

Mystery Items one is some thing yummy for your tummy...and it's the +Quaker Real Medleys oatmeal  2.46oz summer berry flavor. It has oatmeal plus ripe strawberries and whole blueberries, raspberries and multigrains. They are $1.79 per cup...Here is a short video of my kids trying it out....

I received NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City. It's pure pigment ingredients create a 3-d gloss effect, while the vitamin E Provides shine and moisture. I must say my fist thoughts when applying it it doesn't stick which I like and it is sheer but pigmented enough to show you have gloss on, I will be trying it with lipstick later on....any ways the NYC New York Color Liquid Lip Shine  comes in 10 on trend shades that rang from nude to berries and bright pinks. They are $2.49 I would check them out.

This next Item is one of my Favorites, I received a few in past voxbox I have gotten, and just love them, and....It is the Kiss Nail Dress which sell for $6.99 these are awesome, and so easy to use, well worth the money, all you do is buff your nails wipe them clean let them dry and then peel and apply the nail design to your nails, and file them to the shape of your nails,. They are available in 21 designs many of them featuring 3-dimensional jeweled designs. and they last for up to a week. I noticed I can were mine for up to two weeks if I do add my own top coat, you must go try them they are awesome.

EBoost is the next Item I got, this is an awesome Idea, it's a powder that is made of natural ingredients, that you add to water and drink. It's a very cool Idea they come in the following flavors, Orange, Pink Lemonade, Acai pomegranate, or super berry. They are made from vitamins and minerals and super nutrients. to help deliver energy. $28 for a box of 20 powder packets $39 for a box of 30 powder packets and $39 for a box of 12 shots.

Next up is the Goody Quick style brush. that sells for $11.99 This brush is meant to help you go from wet to beautiful and dry in less time. It has super absorbent microfibers bristles to remove up to30% of the water as you style your hair, I must say I think it does work. It's like a towel and brush in one.

Burt's Bee's Intense Hydration

Hello All My Alluring Beauties,
  How are you all doing? I hope well, I wanted to share another story with you, get ready for this.

Alright imagen a dry desert, with many cracks and ridges..... The dry desert that so wants to be moist like the jungle and lush and green. The Desert goes on a hunt for the most hydrating care it could find, it tried everything from, putting straight olive oil on it skin, to deep moister mask, to over not fast fixs and nothing...nothing at all. The poor desert that is not getting more cracks and crows feet, is becoming very sad, and about to give up on ever being the moist green jungle. The Desert returns back to it home land and was walking around crying. On day while crying the desert noticed that there were some beautiful green plants growing right there in it one home land. This beautiful plant was Clary Sage it was moist and beautiful and green. The Desert was to excited to see this.
  The Desert then added   the ingredinets she found from the jungle and other wonderful lands she had visited, and you would never guess but the destert became the most beautiful land ever.
 Ok so that was a bit out ther but in a sense that is what my  skin was like before being able to test and review Burt's Bee's Intense Hydration skin care. My skin is Soft as ever and so moist and young looking. I love the creamy milk wash with clary sage ( Clary Sage is a plant the will grow in even the hottest of lands and be green and moist) The mask is also wonderful, and then the night cream is heavenly I am in love with the Burt's Bee Intense Hydration it is so wonderful, I think every one need to check it out. Easy no heat soft wave!!!

If you are looking for some thing fun and easy to do with your hair and are like me and don't care to use heat on your hair then try this awesome volume and curl. so how to do you do this easy hair style well let get ready for this,

1. Wash your hair
2. with a wide tooth comb brush your hair out.
3. now put your hair ina high pony tail and by High I  mean almost to your forhead.
4.twist your hair tight
5.take your twisted hair and tightly wrap it around the base of your ponytail and use to other hair bands to place it for the day or night.
6. Let your hair dry all the way.
7. Take your hair out and style as you please.....

 I wanted to share a thought with you all today, so please site back and read my post with a open mind and heart. So let me get started.

  Imagen working hourse on in on some thing you love, doesn't matter what it may be, but you work and work and work on it, you care for this Item day in and day out, you perfect it and and perfect it, care and tend to this Item until one day it is done, and you collect the Items or Item and take it to sell it. You know it worth a lot, not only because of the quality of the Item but also all the work care love and  time put into this Item. Ok so you are some where to sell your item and get offered far less then what it is worth, and you go some where else, and another place, and another, all the same you get offered less money than what you should get. so you finely say ok. fine I need the money I will sell it even tho I know it worth more. Now a few week to a month later you are in a store, and you see your Item only it has been changed, filtered and the quality is not what you gave them it been. it has been botched, so they can make many more Items but with fare less value. It is then sold for a far higher price then you were paid. How would you feel???? I am pretty sure  you would feel some anger and sadness and many other feelings,as well. well with that being said.
  Farmers and notably handicrafts, coffee, cocoa, sugar, tea, bananas, honey, cotton, wine, fresh fruit, chocolate, flowers, and gold. All this products that people work so hard to harvest, mine, and labor for are not getting paid what they should be getting paid, what there products are worth, and the companies that are paying them way less that what it is worth are marking the price up so high it't not even funny, on top of that, many of the product are alertered so that the quality is even less than what it is worth, just so they can strech the product, and then charge more.
 
Fair Trade companies are not like that, they pay the people the money there Items or product are worth, they are not altering the Items and they are selling them to us the consumer for a fair price, All in all everyone wins with fair Trade, and the quality of the products are so much better, that is just my short take on it for mor information on fair trade, check out the following web sites.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects.
Hello All My Alluring Beauties,
 How are you doing today? I hope well. I wanted to share with you an amazing product I was sent from Influenster via Sally Hansen, so what is this product you ask, It is Sally Hansen Salon Effect nail polish strips. I really can't get over how well this product works, and how easy they are to apply, and if you have shorter nails like me you can use them twice or three time lol. I cut mine down to size and add them to my nails and still have more to use. Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips work really well I was really happy with how easy they applied and with how long they lasted. On the package it says they last up to 10 days,  I was able to wear them for 2 weeks with out them chipping or falling off. I will say to add a clear top coat, tho it doesn't say to when you read the instructions, but I feel it made my strips last longer,
   To apply you simply find the right size for your nail and them you remove the backing and the clear top protector. You line up the nail strip with you nail and press is down lightly, as you lightly stretch the strip to make sure it is firmly on your nail. Once you have it on the way you want you grab your file and file off the access, add a top coat and your done. They have over 40 patterns to choice from that are all amazing. I received the pattern in Laced Up. which is a beautiful patterns that looks like black lace over a light tan skin tone. Sally Hansen Salon Effect nail polish strips retail for $9.99 but are well worth every penny and they have so many to pick from and they last last last.

Well Everyone "Keep It Beautiful!!!"

A RANT about My Platinum Box ( monthly subscription)

Hello all my Alluring Beauties,

  I wanted to come on here and warn you all about My Platinum box, Here is my story I signed up for My Platinum box on January 17th for a Penny, I got my box and was charged on March 13th for my February box, and I should have gotten my box right around the 3rd or 4th of the month....I didn't and wont be, so let back up a little, I called my platinum box on right around the 26 or 27 of February being they ship our around that time to make sure I was getting my box was told it was all set to be ship our the next day and that I would be getting it. So I wait and wait and wait for my box, I need to cancel my my box for April so I emailed then on March 6th asking for them to unsubscribe me as I wouldn't be able to afford it, and they unsubscribe me and Told me that I should be getting this month box soon and they were sorry to see me leave, any ways I emailed them last night (March 11th explaining my story.) Here is what I wrote them.

I canceled my subscription for next month due to the fact I wont have the money, but I am wondering what happy to my box for this month as my bank account was charged for a box, I never got my shipping information or any thing, when I spoke to customer service on the phone regaurding billing and such before I canceled they said I would have a box coming my way and not to worry, and that it should be here shortly I spoke to them right around the first of the month, I would really like to know what is going on and where my box is. slightly irritated with the fact I can not get through on the phone and keep being sent to voice mail also I have left 3 messages and still have no response. would like one shortly before I go above all this....thank you.,

They email me back with this, Which is great they want to give me back my money but still does not make sense about the dates and all and me unsubscribing, since I canceled after the fact my box should have been mailed.

You canceled quite shortly after you were charged, so at the end of the month when we ship boxes and labels are printed you were not in the system. As a result you will not be receiving the box. And since your payment information is no longer in our system we cannot refund your 10 dollars back, unless you provide us a paypal account into which we can simply transfer $10. Keep in mind our service is recurring billing, after the free trial period you were bound to be charged, unless you canceled the first week of February. So please let me know if you would like to be refunded the $10 via paypal, thank you.

I will give you my paypal info when my husband get home since it his card and all, but what I really don't understand is if you charge me in on Feb 13 the $10 and I canceled on March 6th what does that have to do with my box being shipped out on Feb 28th or Feb 29 you would have still had my information at that time, and I should of had my box before I even cancled right, so what you are saying is you never sent me a box, any ways thank you for offering to refund my money that mean alot. Paypal information will be sent later today.

I am happy they are refunding my money and did  admit it was fault on there behalf I am very up set with the fact I paid for a package of goodies I will not be getting it and that just pisses me off, I really wanted my samples of what ever, not even sure what it was samples of, and no one has a video posted so just not sure what was in it, but yeah I guess I would settle for, my money back, to be honest if i owned a company I would just get ride of some one info, just so that you could go back and see what happened also I would send them the box out any ways and give them there money back to that maybe in the future they would come back but that is just me,

Any ways sorry for the rant and that it was so long, but I felt other should know what they are getting into.... on the other hand I unsubscribed to MyGlam do to the fact that they didn't arrive as fast as i was hoping and the fact that we really were not getting makeup as I thought we would be. Well at least one makeup Item per bag even if it was a drug store makeup item, but instead we got a bunch of facial stuff and what all any way that will go for another blog. I am getting there bag on there mistake with out charge so that is nice....

E.L.F mist and set, this product is amazing it keeps my make up from messing up and is great if my face feels dry I keep it with me at all time,

E.L.F stick eye primer, is great keep my eyeshadow on and smug proof, I want to try the cream one but for now this is amazing and does do its job.

E.L.F cream liner, I love the teal tease it last all day and apply with ease and is very pigmented.

E.L.F make up clutch I use the bronzer, blushes and the eye brow parts of this, oh they are great,  my eye brows always turn out amazing and last all day, the bronzer for me works great for a light glow, and the blush give me a light little glow.

Dark Smokey eyeshadow look

Hello everyone I wanted to share this fun Dark Smokey eyeshadow look, I was asked by my friend Brett to make a look Using Dark Blue, Dark Red and Black. I didn't have a red so I asked him if Dark Purple would be o.k and he said that was fine, I found a Dark Orange Red and ask him if that would be o.k to use to and he laughed and said of course. so here is the look. Down Below I will have step by step of what Items I used and in what order.

 

 

Lets get started,

1. using the e.l.f  eye primer prim you eyes and remember to get just a little under the bottom of you eye,

2. Using the e.l.f clutch use the darkest blue in that pallet. (bottom row 5th one in from the left) apply all over the lid.

3.using the profusion pink pallet take the dark red or the 4th one from the top to the in crease line to about half way make sure so stay in the crease line.

4. Useing the e.l.f clutch use the mate black ( second row last one from the left) Apply to the outer Crease area and blend in with the orange red.

5.Use the Black eyeshadow to line the bottom lash line, from the outer corner to about half way in

6.Use the Red shadow to line the bottom lash line, from the inner corner to met up with the Black and blend.

7. and the final step add, eyeliner to you top lash line and your water line, add your favorite mascara, and your done.

I wanted to say Happy New Years, To all my Beauties,
I hope that the new year bring many wonderful things to all my wonderful and courageous Beauties. I hope that together we can all keep each other encouraged to be our best and to be ourselves cause we are all beautiful, and Alluring. Lets help each other keep to our resolutions by keep each other strong.

Here is my Resolutions:
1. quite smoking..I feel that if I want to be the best guru, or Budget guru, I need to quite smoking plus it will make my body happy and healthier.

2. Put my self on the top of the list like I do my family, I must love my self as much as I love my family so that my children will grow up learning that it is o.k to love who you are and not to hide any thing about your self, we are all wonderful and beautiful and deserve to be happy with ourselves this will also help with the way other view us. The more we respect ourselves the more other will respect us to.

3. To continue to be the best Wife and Mother that I can be, (this is not so much a resolution but a continued life style)

4. Love life and cherish every moment we have on this earth with our friends and family.
